With shortstop Bobby Witt, Jr., returning off the Injured List for the Kansas City Royals, the offense was rejuvenated in an 8-2 win vs. the visiting Minnesota Twins at Kauffman Stadium.
After missing 11 games, Witt returned with a three-hit night, including a two-run double in the bottom of the 5th inning.
The Royals began the six-game homestand with a win, snapping a four-game losing streak.
KC has won eight of its last nine games on home field at Kauffman Stadium.
