Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Athletics aren’t supposed to officially call Las Vegas home until the 2028 season, but fans will still get to experience a taste of the big league life when the team plays six regular-season games next year at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Major League Baseball released its schedule for 2026 on Tuesday, and the highlight for Las Vegas will be a six-game “homestand” for the Athletics when they host the Milwaukee Brewers and Colorado Rockies.
The three against the Brew Crew will be played June 8th-10th, with the Rockies coming in June 12th-14th.
This won’t be the first time the A’s have played regular-season games in Southern Nevada. In 1996, the A’s played their first six home games at the old Cashman Field, downtown, due to renovations that were taking place at the Oakland Coliseum.
Ticket information for the 2026 season has yet to be released.
