The Super Bowl is right around the corner, with just a few days left before kickoff between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, and there are so many markets to wager on. The game is more than just football, it is a media spectacle, where bets can be made on all kinds of things. You can bet on the winning team’s gatorade color, the coin flip, the halftime show and so much more depending on the market you are in.
For those of you in Ontario, Canada, I have some great news. You have access to several markets that many others don’t, such as who the Super Bowl MVP will mention first in their speech at the end of the game. For those of us in the United States, we are out of luck here, but it still is an interesting market to look at and maybe make a friendly wager with your friends. Below are the latest odds on who the Super Bowl MVP will mention first in their speech, and the betting splits as well, so you can see where the money and tickets are going.

As you can see from these numbers, the public thinks the Super Bowl MVP will mention his teammates first. However, giving glory to God has the most overall cash on it with a whopping 84% of the handle. This is likely because Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes always thanks God immediately in all of his postgame interviews, so if he wins the award as he is favored to, it makes sense that he would mention God first as usual.
Interestingly, a whopping 0% of tickets and money is on the winner to mention his coach first. BetMGM Ontario would love for the Super Bowl MVP to mention their coach right away, because they wouldn’t have to pay out nearly anything, while scooping up all the other money. Personally I would be shocked if God isn’t mentioned first, as a vast majority of NFL players are very religious, so the chances they mention God first are pretty high. -210 seems like a pretty fair price for that to happen.
