Wichita State is encouraging fans to fill Charles Koch Arena as the men’s basketball team heads into two important conference games that could move the Shockers into first place in the American Athletic Conference.
The team is currently tied for fourth in the AAC with a 7-4 conference record and sits just one game behind the league leaders. Overall, Wichita State is 15-9 this season.
The Shockers will host co-leaders South Florida on Wednesday and Tulsa on Saturday. Temple is slightly ahead of Wichita State in third place, only a half-game off the top spot in a tightly packed standings race.
