Kansas and Wichita State are finalizing plans to revive their Sunflower rivalry for the first time in 30 years. The Shockers and Jayhawks are working on an agreement to play at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. on Friday, Dec. 29.

Both parties are also looking into the possibility of channeling a percentage of the revenues from the December game to NIL collectives, who could then distribute those cash to participants legally.

WSU's most recent meeting with KU was in the 2015 NCAA tournament, when the Shockers defeated the Wildcats 78-65 in Omaha. The last regular-season game between the two teams occurred on January 6, 1993, when the Jayhawks defeated the Shockers 103-54 at Allen Fieldhouse.
