We’ve heard our fair share of crazy birth stories — parking lots, Walmarts, etc. But this by far is the most hardcore heavy metal one for sure. On Saturday night, a woman gave birth at a Metallica concert in Curitiba, Brazil, right as the band was closing out the night with "Enter Sandman.”

As shared on Instagram, Joice M Figueiró attended the show at the Estádio Couto Pereira, while 39 weeks pregnant.

While medics arrived on the scene with intentions of taking Joice to a nearby hospital via ambulance, her baby had other intentions… to be delivered at the venue. Her son Luan "came to the world on 07/05/2022 at 23:15," (aka 11:15 PM), "entering the world "to the sound of 'Enter Sandman',” as Joice wrote in her caption.

Translating her caption into English, Joice also wrote, “every show I go to, something has to happen, but this time I think I've outdone myself," with an added laugh. And we’d have to agree, Luan’s not even one week old and undoubtedly the most metal kid ever.
