Greg Talks to Doctor About Coronavirus

Kiss 98.5

Yesterday I called in sick because I was concerned about the virus that everyone is talking about right now, the Coronavirus.  The pics above are my before and after pics from when I found out the results.  Not gonna lie, I WAS a little freaked out about this........

It all started when last Thursday I came down with this really bad cough that just wasn't going away. It was so bad to the point where it just hurt every time and it was tough to talk without coughing.  And then on Monday night I came down with this fever that just had me paralyzed on my couch not wanting to even move. On top of everything I was noticing how I was a little short of breath, all of which are symptoms of well.........you know.

Normally I don't get freaked out about stuff like this, but when all this stuff was happening at once, I decided it was time to get checked out. So I called in sick yesterday which is something I never do (which I know is bad btw and this experience will definitely have me reconsidering that in the future) and went in and got talked to a medical professional about it.  Even though by yesterday, I was feeling considerably better I figured it was something I should consult a doctor about.

So they ran a couple tests which honestly weren't bad at all. All that happened was they asked a bunch of questions including when the last time I was out of the country was and if I had ever knowingly been in contact with someone with the virus. They also tested my breathing, took my temperature, checked out my throat and ears, and that really was it.  They concluded that this was just your normal "these things come and go" cold/cough and that it was nothing to worry about.

So the whole thing really was as painless as possible and I can rest easy now that I know for sure. So if you're worried that you might have it, I'd say go get tested because always better safe than sorry, and maybe even more important, you'll have peace of mind once you're certain.
