Subway is going long on dessert.

The sandwich chain has announced it will be adding 12-inch cookies to its menus nationwide in the beginning of 2024. Before then, select locations will be giving out the new items for free on Dec. 4, National Cookie Day, according to a press release.

Customers in Chicago, Miami, Dallas, and New York City can get their hands on the new treats at Subways in their cities. A free cookie comes with any purchase of a footlong sub. Exact locations for stores running the special can be found here.

The cookies first appeared at a pop-up in Miami in 2022 and were all eaten in less than two hours.

According to Subway, the restaurant sells more freshly baked cookies than “any other restaurant company in the United States.”

The free footlong cookie deal is only happening in select locations on Dec. 4 from 1pm to 6pm local times.
