While it wasn’t even Issa Rae’s actual birthday over the weekend, it kinda was ours, after a video surfaced of the Insecure star being serenaded by Usher during his My Way Las Vegas residency show.

After watching from the crowd for most of the show, Issa was invited to join Usher on stage for a for a special surprise performance of “Superstar.”
As seen in the clip above, during the serenade, Issa reacted like any of us would if Usher got up close and personal with his Confessions. And the general online consensus was — same girl, same. See for yourself.
