Dreaming In Color in partnership with Jack Daniels present the Black & Loud music fest at The Crocodile on September 23rd!
The festival lineup includes Nik West, Big Joanie, The OBGMs, April + VISTA, Pleasure Venom, King Youngblood, Down North, Beverly Crusher, Marshall Law Band, Rudy Love & The Encore, Nobi & The Force, Civil Rebellion, The Maya Experience, Tiffany Wilson, Cherubim Tha Multitude (DJ Set), Jamaar Smiley, Patheresa Wells, D’Mario D. Carter, and The Black & Loud Cypher feat. Livt, King Naj, Nathan Nzanga, and Matondo.
Black & Loud Fest celebrates the long lineage of Black artists that have strapped on a guitar and raised their fist to the sky, with a spectacular line up of Black artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Says Lavi-Jones, “The story has never been fully told about Black artists’ musical roles alternative genres in rock and roll. We are putting on Black & Loud so that there is no longer a question of the tour de force of black artists working outside stereotypical black genres both in the Pacific Northwest and across America. This is something culturally significant for BIPOC people; for everyone.”
