La ciudad de Houston espera con anticipacion el Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, pero antes de que incie el Rodeo de Houston podremos disfrutar del World Championship Bar B Que Cook off en el estacionamiento del NRG Stadium. El Cook-Off incia el jueves 27 de  febrero hasta el sabado 20 de febrero. Difruta de la deliciosa comida, entretenimiento y el carnval para toda la familia. Con la compra de tu boleto, todo el dinero recaudado sera para la becas escolares para los estudiantes de nuestra ciudad. No te pierdas el World Championship Cook-off.

2020 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest sponsored by Comcast Business

BOLETOS • Adult (ages 13 and over): $20 • Child (ages 3 to 12): $5 • Children age 2 and under: Free •

NRG Park Season Pass: $35 (valid through the run of the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™: March 3 – March 22, 2020) With each ticket purchased, visitors receive a complimentary sliced beef plate on the porch-style area at The Chuck Wagon.

COOK TEAMS/JUDGING Cook teams feature the most creative in Bar-B-Que decor, from pits disguised as fire engines and covered wagons, to airplanes and armadillos. More than 250 teams comprising more than 700 entries compete for best overall Bar-B-Que. Judging will be held Saturday, Feb. 29. The results will be announced at The Garden at 7 p.m.

2020 WORLD’S CHAMPIONSHIP BAR-B-QUE CONTEST JR. COOK-OFF A new contest for 2020 will take place on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Garden Area of the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest grounds. Children between the ages of 8-14 will be given one steak to prepare that will be judged on appearance/presentation, tenderness and taste. The contest is open to World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest teams and 25 contestants will be chosen via random drawing. Awards will be presented to the top three contestants.

ENTERTAINMENT The Garden Stage, sponsored by Miller Lite, is located inside the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, and features street dancing and live entertainment each night.
