So as you should all very well know by now, The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, will be performing at this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show. And while we really don't have much say in the matter, we feel quite strongly about needing to hear the following 15 songs during his performance. With that said, we'll settle for 10 out of 15, just don't ask us to choose which ones.
1.House of Balloons/ Glass Table Girls
fromTrilogy
This would just be epic AF, so we must have it, that's all.
2.Wicked Games
from Trilogy
I mean the song does have the word game in it... #sports
3. Live for (ft. Drake)
from Kiss Land
If Drake actually showed up for this one, we would actually lose it.
4.King Of The Fall
This might be a one off single, but it's a banger, so it's on the list.
5.In The Night
And so begins what we call the Beauty Behind The Madness portion of the presentation
6. Can't Feel My Face
from Beauty Behind The Madness
A classic, so duh.
7.Earned It
from Beauty Behind The Madness
In case you haven't had enough of that liquid falsetto, also it ruled the radio.
8. The Hills
from Beauty Behind The Madness
Another classic, so duh.
9.Often
from Beauty Behind The Madness
It might be NSFW, but whatever. We're feelin' this song almost as much as Abel does when he sings it.
10.Starboy
from Starboy
Oh would you look at that, another classic.
11.Party Monster
from Starboy
The Halftime Show is a party after all. Also who couldn't use a little of The Weeknd debauchery in their lives?
12.Call Out My Name
from My Dear Melancholy,
Some sad Abel to cleanse you pallet, well he's always sad, but you know what we mean.
13.Heartless
from After Hour
The first jaunt from Abel's new era, can't go wrong.
14.Save Your Tears
from After Hours
If his performance for this is anything like the music video, well then what's a word for more than need?
15.Blinding Lights
from After Hours
This might be too new to be a classic just yet, but that's the direction it's headed, so duh.
16.[BONUS] - Features
Okay we lied, but with all the songs The Weeknd is featured, we couldn't not include at least one, or in this case two. Either Kendrick Lamar's "Pray For Me" or Ariana Grande's "Love Me Harder" will do.
