Cameron Diaz has an ideal married household sleeping situation.
Diaz guested on the “Lipstick on the Rim” podcast with Katherine Power, her Avaline wine business partner and the topic of marriage and partners came up. Especially sleeping and snoring.
“We should normalize separate bedrooms,” Diaz said.
“To me, I would literally, I have my house, you have yours. We have the family house in the middle. I will go and sleep in my room. You go sleep in your room. I’m fine,” she added.
The rest of the people on the pod had a good laugh and said maybe the actor shouldn’t have shared this thought process. The “There’s Something About Mary” star clarified she doesn’t still hold on to these ideas, because of her current situation.
“I’ve already said it,” Diaz continued. “By the way, I don’t feel that way now because my husband (Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden) is so wonderful. I said that before I got married.”
Diaz and Madden have been married since 2015. The couple have a three-year-old daughter named Raddix.
