Diplo is mad, and we don’t blame him. While on vacation, paparazzi caught him in a less than stellar pose and even more tragic lighting. Then, to make matters worse, People magazine published the image, and as far as Diplo was concerned, this meant war.
“Paparazzi woke up today and chose violence,” he captioned his Instagram post sharing the unflattering pic. Not sure why he chose to do that lol, but as most things Diplo does, besides his music, it’s questionable.
Or maybe… methodically planned out. Less than 24 hours after his initial post, Diplo hit us with a mirror selfie of his leaned out physique, this time calling out the entertainment and news outlet by name. Writing, “After people magazine committed a hate crime against me. I stopped eating sugar for 2 hours and this is my body.” They do say the camera ads ten pounds.
Noting that again, like many things Diplo does, it was all fun and games. The ab baring snap was less of a retaliation and more of a resounding shut down. And while Diplo’s miraculous body make-over seems a bit too good to be true, we wouldn’t even dare question it. As we said, if you come for Diplo, Diplo will come for you.
