Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The City of Henderson opened a COVID-19 vaccination site at the Heritage Park Senior Facility at Racetrack and Burkholder this week.
The original plan was to hold the clinic on Tuesday and Wednesday but demand was so great for appointments that the clinic added a Thursday schedule, as well
The site is open to all Nevada residents who are currently eligible to receive the vaccine per the Nevada COVID-19 Vaccine Playbook and will offer 500 vaccinations per day by appointment only.
The site will be open for first dose vaccinations on Thursday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Appointments for second dose vaccinations will be scheduled during the first visit.
Appointments can be scheduled by visiting the City of Henderson website at cityofhenderson.com/COVID19 or by calling the City of Henderson information hotline at 702-267-INFO (4636), Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
