Local Nonprofits, Businesses Within Invited to Submit For A.R.P. Grants

Public also invited to give opinions on how funds should be used

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Nonprofit organizations and businesses can submit a pre-application form for American Rescue Plan grant funding through Aug. 13, 2021. Interested businesses and nonprofits can visit www.lasvegasnevada.gov/ARP to submit the pre-application and view additional information.

The city has received $130 million in funding that must be spent by Dec. 31, 2024. Funding will support causes, issues and groups who have been most impacted by the pandemic.

The key areas being considered are nonprofit support, affordable housing, business assistance and public assistance. Business applicants must be physically located within the city of Las Vegas jurisdiction. Nonprofits located outside the city of Las Vegas jurisdiction, but providing services within the city, also are eligible.
