The Las Vegas Raiders have locked down their top pick from the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Raiders announced Monday the team signed OT Alex Leatherwood to a contract. Terms were not announced, but it is likely a four-year deal with a fifth-year option in the $14M range.
The 17th pick in this year's draft, the 6-5, 312-pound Leatherwood played at Alabama. The first-team All-American earned the Outland Trophy in 2020, given to the best offensive lineman in college.
He is expected to compete right away for a spot at right tackle, where the Raiders had a rotation of players in 2020.
