The COVID19 vaccine incentive lottery is coming to Nevada.
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak announced Thursday the plan for #VAXNevadaDays, where residents who have had at least one vaccination for COVID19 will be eligible to share in a pool of cash and prizes totaling $5 million dollars.
Eligible residents 18 & older who have been vaccinated against #COVID19 will be in the running for big cash prizes. Throughout #VaxNevadaDays: 100 Nevadans will win $1,000, 32 will win $25,000, 11 will win $50,000, 2 will win $100,000, & 3 Nevadans will win $250,000!

The first drawings will take place Thursday, July 8, and continue for eight weeks, ending with a drawing for $1 million dollars on August 26. There are also prizes for kids 12-17 who have also been vaccinated.
All eligible NV residents between the ages of 12-17 who have been vaccinated will have a chance to win 135 tuition prizes ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 in the form of 529 college savings accounts administered by our very own State Treasurer @ZConine. #VaxNevadaDays

Nevadans do not need to sign up for the drawing, as state vaccination records offer automatic entry. IGT, an international gaming and innovation company, with 1700 employees in Nevada, will run the drawings. Sisolak says nearly 2000 prizes will be awarded.
Nevada joins more than a dozen states offering incentives for COVID19 vaccinations.
Weekly lottery drawings will begin July 8 with a $1M prize winner declared on August 26
