Yesterday afternoon, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers to punch their ticket to Super Bowl LVII, their first appearance since winning it all at Super Bowl LII.
You can imagine celebrations were abound for Eagles fans all across the country, but there was an unusual tribute to the team, from the home of one of their arch-rivals.

Last night, the Empire State Building lit up green to celebrate the Eagles’ win, and there were a TON of unhappy Giants fans because of it.
In fact, an angry crowd STORMED the Empire State Building to demonstrate their frustration, with many proclaiming the building is “dead” to them because of the display.
Even the New York Sanitation department couldn’t help but express their frustration.
The Eagles defeated the 49ers, 31-7, to get back to the Super Bowl.
They will face the Kansas City Chiefs, who defeated the Cincinnati Bengals
Super Bowl LVII will take place Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
