The Dallas Police caught their man related to all the strange occurrences at the Dallas Zoo the past couple of weeks, and if 24-year-old Davion Irvin had his way, he could continue his nefarious deeds.

Irvin, who faces six charges of animal cruelty and two charges of burglary, reportedly told the police that he “loves animals.”  His attorney did not respond to a request for comment.

DPD captured Irvin last Thursday after the 24-year-old was spotted at the Dallas World Aquarium.  A police spokeswoman said detectives believed Irvin was going to commit another crime when he was seen at the aquarium shortly before his arrest.

Irvin currently remains in the Dallas County jail Monday, with his bail set at $25,000.
