Unfortunately, there was only a slight frost on the ground, despite the temperature dipping below freezing for a few nights, and there was NO ice on the lake.

The man attempted to drive out on the lake only for his truck, along with his shack, to become fully submerged in the water!

The Barron County Sheriff's Department wrote on Facebook, "Please keep the shacks at home for the time being, let’s enjoy fall while it’s still here yeah? We will have plenty of time to freeze our butts off in the dead of winter."

Despite going underwater, the driver made it out ok and appears it will be fine. However, he was arrested for drunk driving according to KARE 11. It was the Barron County Sheriff's Department third OWI of the night.
