We’re always looking for that new fad diet that will help us achieve weight loss with the least amount of effort required, right?
Well me may have found it!

Researchers at Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana have discovered that potatoes are incredibly nutrient-dense and could be a crucial “part of a healthy diet!”
Though past claims have dubbed the food too “starchy,” researchers believe that since potatoes are low calorie but very filling, consuming a plate full of potatoes can contribute to a shrinking waistline.
Candida Rebello, a co-author of the study, said per the NY Post, “The key aspect of our study is that we did not reduce the portion size of meals but lowered their caloric content by including potatoes. Each participant’s meal was tailored to their personalized calorific needs, yet by replacing some meat content with potato, participants found themselves fuller, quicker, and often did not even finish their meal.
“In effect, you can lose weight with little effort.”
The researchers found that potatoes were” just as healthy for you” as beans and peas.
“We demonstrated that contrary to common belief, potatoes do not negatively impact blood glucose levels,” Rebello said. “In fact, the individuals who participated in our study lost weight.”
