An Australian woman says her American boyfriend has committed the ultimate “Australian crime.”
Her name is Arte Blythe, and she shared the violation in a video she posted on TikTok where she zooms in on her boyfriend who is standing on the beach…wearing swimwear….and socks.
More than 13,000 people have liked the video so far, but it has left the internet divided.
One person in support of Arte wrote per the New York Post, “Immediate ban from the beach for 12 months.” Another added, “I think you need a BF refund, sorry but who wears socks to a BEACH EVER.”
Others agreed with her boyfriend, though.
One person wrote, “Someone wrote: “I wear socks at the beach sometimes lol.” Another agreed writing, “This is totally fine!! Our feet get burnt and it protects them!”
