McCormack alongside an all-star cast is giving Americans the perfect opportunity to do just that as she appears on PBS’s National Memorial Day Concert airing Sunday, May 28, at 8PM on PBS.

The concert, hosted by Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinese will feature performances by Country artists Trace Adkins, Jo Dee Messina, and The War and Treaty, plus American Idol winner Phillip Phillips, gospel legend Yolanda Adams, and more, including actors like John Slattery and McCormack.

“The concert [is] such an incredible way to get to say thank you to so many people who have done so much for us,” McCormack told KFRG’s Pepper. “Not just the fallen and the wounded, but their families too. To be able to just take a minute and honor all of the people who have given so much.”

She continued, “I’ve done the concert for seven years, and every year I think, ‘It can’t get more moving than that,’ and it just never disappoints. This concert is incredible.”

Fans can tune in for the tribute Sunday, May 28 at 8PM via PBS. Or, catch the livestream here.

“There’s a tribute to the Gold Star families, which is always incredibly moving,” McCormack said of what fans can expect to see. “It’s the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice, so there’s going to be a piece about that and a World War II remembrance as well.”
