Have you seen this sheep? Loose farm animal wandering Edwardsville

If you see a sheep wandering the streets of Edwardsville, don't panic.

The Edwardsville Police Department said in a post on Facebook that they're aware of the situation. They say the sheep belongs to a nearby farm, and that they are doing their best to corral the sheep when it is spotted.

The PD asks that if you see the sheep, to contact the non-emergency line at 618-656-2131. They also gave a reminder that sheep are not domesticated or docile — they are farm animals. That means that people shouldn't try to interact with it like it's a pet.
