Investigators say 17-year-old Matthew Nikolai was crossing Chippewa on foot shortly before nine Friday night, when he was struck by a pick-up. The truck kept going.

The teenager fell into the path of another vehicle.  The driver of that car stopped and is cooperating with police.

Nickolai was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
