Academy Award winner Sean Penn and a group of other celebs will come together for a live reading of Penn's 1982 classic film “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” to raise money for multiple organizations.

Along with Penn, actors Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Jimmy Kimmel, Dane Cook, Morgan Freeman and Henry Golding are taking part in the one-night fundraiser on Friday.

The “Feelin’ A-Live” event will primarily benefit Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE). Penn is the founder of CORE, a global non-profit organization.

In April, CORE partnered with Mayor Garcetti's office and the Los Angeles Fire Department to provide free, drive through testing for COVID-19 for high-risk people. There have been 70 staff helping run four of the city's different testing sites.

"That's to ensure the sites can operate and frees up valuable LAFD firefighters and paramedics to focus on their emergency response work," Garcetti said in mid-April. "I'm so grateful that you are here, you have saved lives in the Caribbean, the Gulf Coast, and Puerto Rico and Haiti and now to do it here in your background, it means the world."

Also included in Friday's fundraising efforts is the non-profit REFORM Alliance, which is focused on passing laws to reform the criminal justice system and protecting the incarcerated population from the spread of coronavirus.

CORE is currently providing millions of dollars for testing in metro Atlanta and in 10 other cities.

WSBTV2 reports that Atlanta and Fulton County is CORE's biggest operation and was recently given $3 million to help expand COVID-19 testing in Georgia, now a coronavirus hotspot.

The event, set to start at 5 p.m., PST, and will be live-streamed on LiveXLive’s platform, app, and social channels, along with Facebook Live and TikTok.

The live-stream will feature a “donate” button on-screen and all proceeds will benefit CORE and REFORM Alliance.

In August, Penn married his 28-year-old girlfriend, Leila George.
