Alrighty then, we have our first look at Jim Carrey’s take on Joe Biden.
The comedian suited up as the former Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate for the upcoming “Saturday Night Live” season premiere.
NBC gave fans a sneak peek in a promo released on social media.
Carrey bares a striking resemblance to Biden in the 18-second clip, which also serves as a montage of his transformation from the costume department.
At one point, he even rocks Biden’s signature shades.
Maya Rudolph also appears in the promo as Biden's running mate, California Sen. Kamala Harris.
While this is the first time Carrey is stepping into Biden’s shoes, Rudolph has got her Harris impersonation down after debuting it on the comedy variety series and snagging good reviews from Harris herself.
Carrey will succeed Jason Sudeikis as Biden ahead of the November presidential election.
Lorne Michaels previously teased that Alec Baldwin would also return with his infamous Donald Trump impersonation.
“SNL” returns on October 3 “live from New York’s” Studio8H with a limited audience each week.
