A local family is in mourning after an elderly family member succumbed to her injuries from a horrific hit and run crash.
Police say the woman was hit by a car while crossing Miramar Street at Union Station just before 6 a.m. on November 23 and then dragged about 15 feet.
LAPD Detective Juan Campos tells KNX that using video and photo evidence from the area, authorities were able to identify the suspect as 26-year-old Ronald Jo-Jlux, who drives a 4-door tan or gold 2003 to 2008 Toyota Corolla.
The driver side car can be identified as its wheels are missing hub caps or equipped with aftermarket black rims. People are asked to contact the LAPD.
A reward of up to $50,000 is available for anyone who provides information leading to the identification and conviction of a suspect in a deadly hit-and-run.
