Cowboys' Mike McCarthy on CeeDee Lamb & Dak Prescott's connection, potential deadline moves
Is the Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb connection back?
Earlier this week, CeeDee Lamb said he's 'found a rhythm' with his quarterback again after Lamb racked up 13 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
During his weekly visit with 105.3 The Fan, Shan, RJ and Bobby asked Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy on Friday morning if the duo's connection was starting to click.
"I would agree with that. I thought they clicked," McCarthy said. "Obviously, with the number of opportunities those two had on Sunday night. I think, obviously, the fourth-quarter plays really stand out. I think the fact that for as much attention and tilt of coverage CeeDee gets it's important for those two guys to be in sync. It was a good performance on Sunday night."
McCarthy also spoke about how he balances the pace of the offense, his assessment of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins, if he wants to see any moves at the trade deadline, and much more.
