This week, the spotlight is on Heather Behrens!
Heather Behrens is the co-anchor of the KRLD Morning News with Mike Rogers and considers KRLD her longtime "radio" family.
She first started at KRLD/CBS in 1997 as an overnight anchor/reporter and has returned throughout the years to work mornings, middays and afternoons. Heather has also worked the newsrooms of KEWS, TXCN, USA Radio Network, Irving Community Television, KDAF and KTVT.
Additionally, she worked as a digital communication specialist at a Dallas private school before returning to KRLD. Heather is a Texan by choice and a native of Oklahoma where she attended the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and received a bachelor of arts degree in communication.
She also holds a degree in interior design and is a licensed REALTOR® and member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Heather is married with two amazing children and has three dogs and a cat. She currently lives in University Park.
