Royel Otis is responsible for two of the biggest hit covers of the year, Sophie Ellis-Bextor's "Murder on the DanceFloor" and The Cranberries' "Linger." They also topped the charts with their original hit "Sofa King" and have sold out their entire US Tour.
Australian natives Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic sat down with KROQ's Klein.Ally.Show where they discussed the possibility of a third cover song. They also revealed that, when in the States, they make a point to load up on Budweiser. They went on to say they've already written a jingle for Budweiser that serves as an inside joke between the two of them.
Listen to the full chat below and hear the insane story of how Royel almost died after getting stung by a Jellyfish in the ocean.
After their chat, Royel Otis moved to the KROQ Kitchen where they performed two songs live, including their single "Sofa King" and "Murder On The Dancefloor (triple J Like A Version)."
