Crews put out a fire that broke out Tuesday morning in a house in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles.

The fire was reported about 4:45 a.m. in a one-story, single-family house at 8730 W. Cattaraugus Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Crews encountered light smoke when they arrived at the home and put out the fire in 19 minutes, a department spokeswoman said.
Three occupants exited the home without being injured, she said.
