The Denver Broncos announced today (January 4, 2021) that John Elway will no longer be the team's General Manager. Elway will remain with the team as President of football operations and will take on an "elevated role." The team's search for a new GM will begin immediately and the new GM will "make all football decisions, working in partnership with [coach] Vic [Fangio].'' Bronco fans have been talking about the need for the team to have a new General Manager as the best way to get the team back to winning. The Broncos have missed the playoffs for the past five seasons.
