According to Yahoo Sports, Nikola Jokic has won the NBA's MVP award for the 2020-2021 season. With the award Jokic becomes the lowest NBA draft pick to win it: he was drafted #41 in 2014. He has led the Nuggets to the second round of the NBA playoffs after having an amazing season with an average of 26.4 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He also had 16 triple-doubles this season which brought his career total to 57: only Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain has more triple-doubles for a center than Jokic with a career total of 78 over the course of 14 seasons.
