Several cities including South Lake Tahoe and Davis have cancelled their Fourth of July fireworks show, but the city of Elk Grove is still planning to host a show this summer!
The annual fireworks show is held at Elk Grove Regional Park, but the city is planning to launch fireworks from an undisclosed location this year giving people the opportunity to see them from their home.
GoodDay Sacramento shared that Elk Grove is working with a company to provide fireworks that will shoot higher in the air!
Both Elk Grove Police Department and Cosumnes Fire will be involved in the celebration.
