Gov. Gavin Newsom addressed the question many Californians have been asking over the past couple of weeks.
He explained that the state is working towards reopening by following a four stage plan outlined in yesterday's press conference.
We're currently in the first stage that only allows for the operation of essential business. Stage two will permit other businesses such as retail to open. It will also allow manufacturing and schools to reopen. Gov. Gavin Newsom predicts the state could move into stage two in a matter of weeks.
Stage three allows other common areas such as gyms, salons and movie theaters to open. The final stage will allow for large groups to gather again, permitting the attendance of concerts and sporting events along with the opening of convention centers.
