The holidays are looking a little different this year. In order to uphold health guidelines the City of Sacramento has decided to hold off on the Theater of Lights show and the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink.
Not all activities have been cancelled though, CBS 13 reported the tree lighting will be held virtually this year!
The city will also be installing a 65-foot ferris wheel in Old Sacramento in front of Rio City Cafe. You can check it out from Oct. 30 through Jan. 31.
Additionally the Crest Theater will also be hosting outdoor movie nights for the month of October.
You can catch "Movies Under the Stars" every Thursday in Ali Youssefi Square on K Street, next to the Golden 1 Center.
Last year Global Winter Wonder announced it will not be returning to Sacramento, get more details here.
