Sacramento's Sheriff, Scott Jones, who just 2 weeks ago announced he would not enforce the states emergency curfew to help slow the spread of Covid-19, has himself tested positive for Covid-19. After coming into contact with another employee, he began experiencing symptoms such as fever, congestion and light-headedness. California, which is in the middle of record #'s of Covid cases as well as hospitalizations and ICU patients, had hoped to slow the spread of Covid-19 by putting in place a one month curfew beginning at 10p, but Scott Jones decided to publicly release a statement that he would not be enforcing the curfew at all, leaving many to fear people would feel empowered to ignore the health orders.
