WWE Performance Center Tests Positive for COVID-19

Since COVID-19 hit the world in March and essentially shut down entertainment for us all at once, the World Wrestling Entertainment has been one of the only forms of new entertainment available. It is almost as if the WWE was immune to Coronavirus. [Spoiler Alert : they were not].

As TMZ reports, multiple WWE staffers at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando have tested positive for COVID-19. Though they aren't calling it an outbreak, keep in mind they did say multiple and its been said to not be a large group of people. 

With that being said, WWE is expected to continue television production and is "ramping up" its testing and preventative measures.

This coincides with the rise of Coronavirus cases in Florida -- which sources cite 3,286 cases reported on Tuesday and 5,508 reported on Wednesday; which is highest amount of cases reported in a day to date. 

TMZ states further that a WWE representative reported that ”WWE will continue COVID-19 testing of its talent, production crew and employees in advance of TV productions for the foreseeable future." So let's stay ready to rumble [for now].
