Looks like things are looking UP for actress Felicity Huffman who earlier this year pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud for paying $15,000 as part of a fraudulent bid to boost her daughter's test scores. She served 11 days of a two-week sentence at a Dublin prison. She released a statement on this matter ... see below.
"In my desperation to be a good mother I talked myself into believing that all I was doing was giving my daughter a fair shot," Huffman wrote in a letter to the court last year. "I see the irony in that statement now because what I have done is the opposite of fair. I have broken the law, deceived the educational community, betrayed my daughter and failed my family."
Now she is ready to get back to work. It was announced by KCRA NEWS that Felicity Huffman was casted to record a pilot set to portray Susan Savage, the Sacramento River Cats majority owner, for an ABC pilot.
