Holiday Tree arrives at Old Sacramento Waterfront. It's starting to feel like the holiday season in Sacramento.

Organizers said this is the tallest tree they have ever had on display at the waterfront.

The tree came from Shasta County. Volunteers and local businesses will spend the next two weeks decorating the tree with 24,000 lights, 550 icicles, 400 strobes, and other specialty lights from Stage Nine Entertainment. The official tree lighting will happen the day before Thanksgiving at 6 p.m.

The first 2022 "Theatre of Lights" performance will take place immediately after the tree lighting. You can get more info on the website www.oldsacramento.com
