As the Delta variant of Covid continues to take hold across the country, San Francisco will be joining the list of major cities requiring full vaccinations for customers of restaurants, bars, clubs, gyms and large indoor events and also requiring employees to be vaccinated by October 13th to preserve their jobs. The mandate only applies to those who are 12 and older.
California has seen sharp increases of Covid across the state, with hospitalizations among those who have not been vaccinated increasing as well. The vaccinations have continued to show as being highly effective against breakthrough cases and those who do catch Covid, being less sick than those who were not vaccinated.
