Rest In Peace to yet another Legend of Hip Hop.
You probably knew him as Humpty, pronounced with the Umpty.
He we by Shock G, of the group Digital Undergound.
They hit in the late 80's with the "Humpty Dance" and went on to work with other all-time greats like Tupac, Dr. Dre, Prince and KRS-One. In fact, Shock G was featured on Pac's song "I Get Around" and he helped produce the album, 2Pacalyse Now.
Multiple source have reported his death, including TMZ, but details of the cause have yet to be provided. All we know is we lost another one and the music community is mourning yet again.
But right now lets just look back and remember the man and the artist and pay homage to Shock G, and smile reciting the lyrics of him getting busy in the Burger King bathroom.
