One thing can be said about President Trump; he sure has made some noise on his way out of the White House, right? Not dwelling on the recent past, let's just get to the current events - as in this just happened...
Several sources have noted that the exiting President has issued a number of pardons in the final hours of his administration and a few of them are some you may be interested in; and maybe one that didn't happen that may be as entertaining.
As KFOR.com news sites here, President Donald Trump has granted clemency to rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.
Weezy pled guilty last month to possession of a loaded, gold-plated handgun on his jet in Miami in December 2019. He faced up to 10 years in prison for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon; but now - pardoned, thanks to Trump.
Kodak Black was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison after making a false statement to buy a firearm, to which he has served nearly half his sentence.
I'm not really sure how much of a surprise those are to anyone, but most must be happy. But the one that I'm sure half the country and all of Netflix viewers wanted to see was Joe Exotic getting pardoned and that did not happen. The same source, KFOR.com, reported in a separated article here, the star of "Tiger King" was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of murder-for-hire in 2018 and
a grand jury also indicted him on an additional 19 counts of wildlife charges; including the violation of the Endangered Species Act and Lacey Act.
So it makes sense he wasn't let out just yet, being that he has a series of actual charges including ones with "murder" in them.
Still a few hours left though...
