Here's everything you need to know about ESSENCE Fest 2021

Sorry to disappoint, but ESSENCE Fest isn't quite ready to be back on their Girls Trip status. However, that doesn't mean the party is stopping completely. ESSENCE Fest 2021 is in full effect virtually for the second time and we are living loud.

According to a statement, this year's two-weekend event (June 25-27th & July 2-4) will be "a virtual experience celebrating power and accomplishments of our community." It'll be full of "powerful daytime interactive sessions" and of course, their not-to-be-missed "star-studded evening concerts."

This year's performers include Jazmine Sullivan, DJ Khaled & Friends, Kiana Ledé, Ne-Yo, Teedra Moses, Davido, Amerie, Kirk Franklin, Traci Steele, Case, Lucky Daye, Gabrielle Perry, D-Nice, Tank, Israel Houghton & New Breed, and Kes The Band. A virtual marketplace will also be live to connect fans to Black-owned businesses.

Tune in for PITCH PLEASE!, powered by Pull Up for Change's Impact Fund and New Voices Foundation to watch up-and-coming Black women-owned beauty brands make their pitch to change the beauty business game! During this pitch competition, eight Black women founders will compete for cash prizes ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 plus valuable business coaching to launch & execute, or grow & scale their beautiful entrepreneurial dreams.
