California is pausing the administration of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

The decision was made after federal health agencies recommended a halt in distribution. According to the Sacramento Bee, the CDC and the FDA are investigating blood clots that occurred in six women after receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
