Not sure how you were raised, but I’ve known mothers growing up that said they would put hands on anyone that messed with their child, no matter who it was. “I don’t care if you are a kid or not... if you are old enough to run your mouth, you are old enough to get your ass whooped.” I’ve heard those words myself.
Did that happen in Florida the other day? I don’t know, but that is the picture that I have painted in my mind.
What I do know is what is reported from globalnews.ca, and that is that a 34-year-old mother got arrested for child abuse after showing up to her daughter’s middle school with a boxing glove in hand and allegedly using that on one of her daughter’s schoolmates.
The mom, Edith Riddle, met with her daughter’s Vice Principal to discuss her daughter’s recent behavior issues with another student. Riddle was reported to have the boxing glove on her left hand, claiming it was super-glued to her hand. The mother and daughter then both went to the school cafeteria where they got into a physical altercation with the victim. Reed was arrested and the family of the victim (who is a is a minor, of course) will be seeking charges.
