So THAT happened. I don’t think I need to clarify what he said (he said what he said), but I will just unpack it and share the backlash, because that’s pretty entertaining.
As Billboard.com reports, Trick Daddy says shares his admittedly “unpopular opinion” and is now trending for saying that Beyoncé can’t sing, but that Jay-Z doesn’t deserve to be considered in the greatest rapper conversation. Basically, he says the two are overrated.
"Beyoncé f--- with her because she see money. Beyoncé ain’t trying to give back to music or nothin'. Beyoncé don’t write music and barely can sing her motherf---in' self. Beyoncé can’t sang!"
The response to any and every Beyoncé fan was instantaneous. I’ve heard her live and I was seriously in awe (that was years ago too when she overshadowed Kelly and Michelle too).
