Trump-supporters "kicked off" flights over the weekend

Did they get added to the no-fly list for participating in the DC insurrection? THAT is the question...

First thing first, it went down last week in DC. Not in a good way, at all. It was a mess. But without getting into that, one of the fallouts from the attack on Congress January 6th is that people have the perception that anyone that may have been in support of it could be subject to recourse. At least that seems to be the sentiment on social media.

Over the weekend numerous videos surfaced of what are deemed Trump supporters being kicked off flights, by security officials, and in some cases with light force. They go so far as to echo the notion that what is happening to them in the airport is directly related to them being added to the no-fly list, which is assumed would be because of being Trump supporters. As much people would like that to be true, and how it would make sense to most, as of now there hasn't been anything official to confirm any of that. In fact on the contrary...
the instances that went viral below both are explained as mask violations and mis-captioned, according to SNOPES.com.

The site further goes on to explain that "while these videos do not show people on the FBI’s no-fly list, CNBC News reported that the country’s largest flight attendant union has called for those involved in the Capitol Riot to be added to the no-fly list. However, it doesn’t appear that this has happened yet. On Jan. 9, a day before these videos went viral, FAA Administrator Steve Dickson released a statement saying that the “FAA will pursue strong enforcement action against anyone who endangers the safety of flight, with penalties ranging from monetary fines to jail time,” but he made no mention of the no-fly list."

(I have no idea what happened with the one below, it just looks crazy lol).
